Hi Everybody Welcome To My Author Page

Drop by the Carol Cadoo Bookstore giving it “Facetime” where I hang out daily. Answering questions and talking to my favorite people in the world Carol’s readers LOL. I hope you enjoy your visit feel free to cruise around the site and get to know me and my peeps LOL. I love writing Chick Lit/ Romance. I recently re-edited and reapplied the lipstick of my Chic Lit Serial, Deja Vu of Love. The series starts off with Deja Vu of Love The Beginning which of course is the first book of the story in the Deja Vu Series. As a writer I am partial to using a third person multiple POV style of writing. Although not well known it is frequently used in Romance and other genre’s where multiple point of views add to the depth and value of the story line, and character interactions.
I also prefer moving the story along through the use of dialogue versus narrative. I think it’s because I enjoy giving a distinct voice to all my characters. As a writer I believe that dialogue helps define the characters as people. I write about real women with flaws who are strong and confident and ready to live life. I really enjoy watching my characters grow and change as the story of their lives unfolds. I try not to be to much of a control freak and let the characters write the story, after all it is there life.
So if you are a reader who likes to hear the voice of your characters and share their POV I am your next favorite writer LOL
Just a little something about me I am a retired Actress, Director,Choreographer, who discovered her real passion in life, was writing.
I have two sons Zachary and Garette my oldest son Zach just made a gift of a daughter of love Keri and her beloved girl Starla into my life. I also have two doggie kids Hazel and Harry. My free time is spent in the garden enjoying nature, decorating, and writing. I would love to have feedback from readers I think we are always curious about what people think of our work.
So, here is my suggestion go get a great glass of red wine, start the bubble bath grab a couple of chocolate covered caramels with sea salt. Then enjoy a little you time with a good book. I hope you love and enjoy reading the characters with minimally twice the enjoyment I had writing them to life.
Please pass the link to my book page to your address and Facebook people;if you believe I am worthy of a personal recommendation.
May you enjoy all the bad boys of romance with none of the pain.

Featured Author of the Week – Jacques Antoine

Featured Author of the Week - Jacques Antoine

By day, Jacques Antoine is a professor at a small college in the southwest, by night he writes action-adventure stories. At first, he wrote “kung fu” tales just for his daughter, when she was a little ninja studying karate. As she grew up, the tales evolved into full-length novels focusing on the dilemmas of young adults, but always set against the background of martial arts adventures. When he’s not writing or teaching, he enjoys walking his dogs in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains outside Santa Fe.

The Emily Kane Stories are based on the central insight of Japanese martial arts, captured in the little word “sen.” It means, roughly, initiative. It can take many forms, and is visible in all walks of life. In Karate, “go no sen” means “counter-attack.” But in other contexts it might also refer to resilience, or responsiveness, or a deliberate choice. The common element lies in the insight that responsiveness or deliberation is not the same as passivity, and neither is aggression necessarily a sign of initiative. True initiative lies deeper than the difference between activity and passivity.
