This Weeks Featured Author is...Suzie O'Connell

Suzie O’Connell grew up in a small town on the Kitsap Peninsula in Western Washington but has called the mountains and valleys of Western Montana home for well over a decade. She has been writing stories since she was old enough to know how and completed her first novel before she graduated from high school. After high school, tired of the endless rain, she attended college at the University of Montana-Western and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing.

When she isn’t writing, Suzie enjoys playing in the mountains with her husband Mark, their daughter Maddie and their energetic golden retriever Reilly. She is also a hobby photographer, specializing in landscapes.

Featured Author of the Week, Scott Langrel

Scott Langrel was born and raised in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, a town nestled in the mountains of Appalachia. Which, by the way, is pronounced “apple-atcha”, not “a-puh-lay-shua”. His favorite TV shows as a kid were “Kolchak: The Night Stalker” and “Night Gallery” with Rod Serling. He was also drawn to books with larger-than-life heroes such as Doc Savage and Robert E. Howard’s Solomon Kane. He was (and still is) a big X-files fan, along with Lost, Supernatural, and The Walking Dead.
Scott prefers horror and thrillers where there is a real, supernatural villain as opposed to psychological horror, and he tries to incorporate such characters into his stories.

Lindsay Victoria Sabbarton

Lindsay is a wife, mother, adorer of Airedale Terriers, author, a daughter and a niece, but not necessarily in that order!
Writing has always been a passion and now with the advent of ebooks and the wonderful Amazon Kindle she has finally decided to take the plunge and publish her first novel, TWISTED in the thriller/crime genre, which has, to date had excellent reviews!

Lindsay is busy again now, researching and writing her next novel, Vera Bentley – The Promise, which although is a stand alone book does take it’s main character, Vera, from Twisted. Hopefully the second book will be available for Christmas and be as well received as TWISTED has been.

Lindsay lives in a village in Essex with her husband, James, son, Harry and her ever faithful and loyal companion Tigerlilly – the beautiful Airedale Terrier, who unravels Lindsay’s brain on lovely long country walks!
